Emily & Richard's Yorkshire Wedding

Helen Rose

"Autumn is the best time of year! The colours and the crisp air here in West Yorkshire appealed hugely to me when deciding on the date we were to marry.” I couldn't have worded it better myself... those changing colours captivate me every year!

I have known Emily since we were teenagers and was a little bit giddy when she asked me to be her photographer for her special day.

Emily and Richard were able to have the highly personal wedding they dreamed of, as they were able to involve many other skilled professionals who they also knew, making it all the more special for them.

They were SO much fun to be with and photograph. You can see how completely and utterly in love they are on their photographs and the very best part was that they laughed themselves silly from start to finish! Much love to them! xx

Baby number 2!

Helen Rose

Recently I have been asked to return to photograph several families that I have previously been to before. It is such a privilege, as well as a relief to know they loved their photographs, and is also wonderful to be able to see how the children are growing and changing. The children warm up very quickly and respond to you as a photographer through the familiarity that has already developed between us, some love to even perform for you too which is really cute.

Victoria asked if I would photograph baby bump number 2, after her experiences of photos of baby bump and baby number 1! That baby bump isnt a baby bump any more now either. Massive Congratulations to Victoria and family on the arrival of baby Henry!

Victoria did a fab job creating her very own flower crowns to wear, which brightened up this damp autumnal day no end! We then sought refuge from the weather in Sheffield's very own Botanical Gardens, which we had permission to use for the afternoon!
